Overkill's The Walking Dead Release Date Delayed Into 2018
Yet again there's a delay for Overkill Software's co-op shooter set in The Walking Dead universe. Now the PC and console undead slayer will be out in late 2018.
There aren't many concrete facts known about Overkill's The Walking Dead except that it will be following a new story line and characters. It is billed as a shooter with co-op elements but is otherwise being kept under-wraps at the studio.
Interestingly Overkill have teased a VR Experience trailer which means it may be fully supporting virtual reality. It would certainly fit as it's a first-person shooter and if the year-old VR teaser is anything to go by then we may get multiple characters to play, sort of like Overkill's own co-op shooter creation PAYDAY.
Overkill's The Walking Dead releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in late 2018.
