Smite's Clash Mode is Here to Stay, Thanks to the Latest Patch

Hi-Rez Studios have gone ahead and released the patch notes for the incoming Smite update 'The Reborn Prince'. This new patch will, amongst other changes, permanently adds Clash Mode to the game and remodels Ze Nha.

First things first, the 'beta' tag has been removed from Clash Mode which means "Clash is here to stay as a normal mode." Hi-Rez states, "While we are still going to be iterating on the Map and making improvements, we are currently happy with where it sits and how players are enjoying it. We are excited to see how Clash continues to develop and hope players enjoy playing it over the Holiday Season!”

Ravana is also getting an update with a buff and a new passive ability; "No longer limited to punching with one-hand, Ravana has a few new skills to get into the fray and mix it up!"

  • "Successful hits from Basic Attacks or abilities increase Ravana’s Combo Chain. Each time his Combo Chain reaches 8, he receives a Shield equal to 6% of his maximum Health. This may stack up to 3 times."
  • Prana Onslaught has received buffs across damage, range, and slow.
  • For every target you hit with 10-Hand Shadow Fist, you'll receive healing.
  • Mystic Rush no longer requires a lock-on, but it can miss if you're not careful. It has also received a damage buff.

This patch has been scheduled to hit live servers next week on December 15.
