ROME: Total War iOS Release Date Confirmed
Creative Assembly's legions in ROME: Total War will be marching to victory - or a rather embarrassing defeat - on iOS this week on Thursday.
The touch-screen of the iPad has been utilised by Feral Interactive to make it emulate a desktop mouse in the turn-based and real-time strategy halves of ROME: Total War. It stands in for keyboard controls too and the game's graphics have been upgraded for the high-resolution Retina screen.
"ROME: Total War for iPad comes without compromise. Turn your tablet’s screen into an exhilarating 3D battlefield alive with thousands of units, from tight formations of swordsmen to sweeping lines of chariots."
To enjoy marching the legions and spreading the civilisation of Rome - or leave the empire in ruins - you'll need a "first generation iPad Air or newer, an iPad mini 2 or newer, or any iPad Pro." The game will also take up just under 4GB of space; Rome wasn't built in a gigabyte after all.
ROME: Total War releases on iOS November 10th, and is already available on PC and Mac.
