Game Of Thrones: A Telltale Game Season 2 'On Hold'

Telltale Games has revealed that the adventure-loving studio can make a second season of Game of Thrones, but that it's been put 'on hold' for now.

They've decided to 'wait and see' where the fantasy realm goes narratively before they commit to making a more finalised decision on the series. It's not like Telltale are hard up for other franchises to be working on, like the new Wolf Among Us season, Batman or more Walking Dead.

Telltale's creative communications boss, Job Stauffer, said they want to  “see where things go with the narrative of the show before we really come back to the table with something we're excited about.” In all likelihood they will be returning with the series but aren't sure what to nail down for their own story to tell. A second season could return to House Forrester or make our decisions impact a whole other group of people caught up in the treacherous Game of Thrones.

Right now Telltale is having an excellent run with Batman and its interesting divergence from the comic books' usual spin of the heroes and villains of Gotham.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series concluded its first season comprised of six episodes mid-November 2015, having debuted December 2014.
