Lethal VR Announced For PC And PlayStation 4
Team17 and Three Fields Entertainment have just announced the arcade arena shooter Lethal VR that is - drum role please - a virtual reality title!
This VR arcade shooting gallery is announced for SteamVR's HTC Vive and PlayStation VR with the PC version launching first next month before eventually coming to PlayStation 4 by the end of the year. It has been "built from the ground up for the HTC Vive" using all 360 of those sweet degrees in full room VR.
"The arrival of VR inspired us to think about the stories we could tell and the immersive experiences we could create. Lethal VR puts the player in the shoes of an FBI recruit being assessed. The game is inspired by shooting sequences in films such as Point Break, Robocop and The Man with the Golden Gun,” said Fiona Sperry, CEO of Three Fields Entertainment.
Lethal VR releases on PC November 8th and on PlayStation 4 later in the year.
