Destiny: The Taken King Includes New Series Console
The upcoming, limited edition Destiny: The Taken King bundle was confirmed today to include the latest edition of the PlayStation 4 console: a CUH-1200 series model.
The package will include a physical copy of Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, a collection of the original title and its three expansions: The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King.
You'll also be upgraded to the Digital Collector's Edition which grants you accent to three exotic Guardian class items with experience bonuses, three class-specific emotes, three armour shaders, and the early weapons pack.
The console included will be white and features Destiny-inspired decoration. As for what the new model means to the consumer, the CUH-1200 features a variety of changes including a simplified Blu-Ray drive build, a lighter power supply, 8 RAM memory modules with double capacity (as opposed to 16), a shorter motherboard, a new cooling system, and the heat sink is now steel, not aluminium.
This Destiny: The Taken King bundle will be available on September 15.
