Charlize Theron Packs a Mean Punch in Frist Atomic Blonde Trailer
We’ve got high hopes for this one and the trailer does not disappoint. Following on from yesterday’s tantalising teaser, we’ve not got our first full blown look at Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde.
Adapted from a fantastic graphic novel, The Coldest City, by Antony Johnston and Sam Hart, Theron has been looking to bring this one to the big screen for a while. With Kurt Johnstad on adaptation duty, the freshly retitled Atomic Blonde finds Theron as Agent Lorraine Broughton, a skilled intelligence operative called into action when an undercover MI6 spy is killed in 1989, just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. She’s to track down a list he was smuggling to the West to prevent her and her colleagues becoming endangered by the release of crucial information.
It’s double-crossing agents and global agendas as John Wick director David Leitch brings all his stunts know how in a film co-staring James McAvoy, John Goodman, Toby Jones and Sofia Boutella, this cool, confident thriller hits cinemas on 11th August.
