THQ Nordic's Gamescom 2017 Line-Up, Two Unannounced Games
Another major event in the games industry is almost here with Gamescom 2017 and THQ Nordic has just confirmed their line-up, and teased two unannounced titles.
Outside of E3 that's held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center, California, the another big event that has established itself over the years has become Gamescom which is held in Cologne, Germany.
"The first new announcement is a brand new original IP. This open world RPG is set in a unique universe and will be a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable. The second new announcement is a new instalment of a well-known, mysterious and horrific IP," wrote THQ Nordic in their announcement.
THQ Nordic's Confirmed Gamescom 2017 Line-up:
• ELEX
This is an open-world fantasy RPG from Gothic creator Piranha Bytes and visitors to the event will get to play a "near-to-final version" of ELEX.
• Battle Chasers: Nightwar
This fantasy game follows a JRPG format featuring turn-based combat, a rich story driven by exploration and deep dungeon diving. Playable on Switch.
• SpellForce 3
The next instalment in the real-time strategy with a deep single-player campaign, which will be their focus at Gamescom.
• Aquanox: Deep Descent
A first-person underwater shooter and its campaign will be on show at the event for the first time.
• The Guild 3
THQ Nordic tease a surprise announcement regarding The Guild 3, alongside improved and advanced gameplay.
• Wreckfest
The latest version of the Early Access and over-the-top racer and destruction derby love-note Wreckfest will be on-hand.
THQ Nordic will be holding their line-up in Gamescom's Entertainment Area, Hall 8, Booth A011 from August 22nd, 2017.
