AMD's CEO Reveals Windows 10 Releasing In July
According to a slip from AMD's CEO Lisa Su during a recent earnings call, Windows 10 will be released “at the end of july”.
The news slipped from the graphics card company's latest financial earnings call, where Su told a JP Morgan representative:
"What we also are factoring in is, you know, with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up."
Microsoft hasn't officially confirmed a solid release date for Windows 10 yet, but it did mention that the new operating system would be released in 190 countries this summer.
July looks like a likely date to us. Will you be taking on Windows 10 when it releases? It will be free for the first 12 months for Windows 7 and 8.1 users.
