Justice League 'Unwatchable' Before Reshoots

It’s already been reported that the recent reshoots on the DCEU’s Justice League maybe more extensive than previously thought but, it turns out those little pick-ups were actual wholesale changes to the ending – to the tune of $25 million.

Joe Morton, who plays the father of Cyborg – Dr Silas Stone – in the new movie – has shed a little light in a new interview with IGN. He told the site that "I think what I heard was that there was a need from the studio to lighten up the film in a way, that the film felt too dark. I don't know what that meant in terms of how it actually got translated in terms of the reshoots but that's what I heard”.

Going one step further, Batman-On-Film have quotes from an inside source that the changes are being made to the film are “significant”. Reporting that reshoot work is still ongoing, it reckons that following an early cut of the movie not going down too well, “substantial changes to the film were ordered”. Apparently, an early cut of the film was deemed “unwatchable.”

As to be expected, Warner Bros. have yet to comment on the rumours.
