The brand new X-Men collaboration between Matt Nix and director Bryan Singer, The Gifted, has been given the green light to go to series and to celebrate that fact, there’s a new trailer too.
The Gifted focuses on the parents of a family (played by Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker) who go on the run when they discover that their children are mutants. Pursued by the government, the family take refuge with an underground network of mutants.
Joining Acker and Moyer, who’ll be playing Kate and Reed Stewart, will be Coby Bell as Jace Turner, presumably a member of the government; Jamie Chung as Clarice Ferguson/Blink, who's endowed with the power of teleportation; Emma Dumont as Lorna Dane/Polaris, a daughter of Magneto who has inherited his magnetic abilities; Natalie Alyn Lind as Lauren, daughter of Kate and Reed who discovers that she's a mutant; Blair Redford as Sam, the leader of the underground Mutant network; Sean Teale as Marcos Diaz/Eclipse, who's able to absorb and manipulate photons; Percy Hynes White as Andy, the Stewart's other child.
The Gifted will air this fall on Fox and there will be a full trailer for the series coming May 15th.
