First Trailer For Borg Vs McEnroe
Wimbledon is underway and while we’re catching all the tennis action with a bowl of strawberries and cream, we’ve also got another tennis spectacle to view.
Empire have the first trailer for titanic tennis tussle Borg Vs McEnroe has dropped and, yes, we can be serious about this biopic of the rivalry between tennis icons John ‘You Cannot Be Serious’ McEnroe, played by Shia LaBeouf, and Björn ‘Ice Man’ Borg, played by Sverrir Gudnason.
Focusing on the fierce rivalry between the pair during Wimbledon in 1980, the film is directed by Janus Metz Pedersen (True Detective) and co-stars Stellan Skarsgård.
Borg Vs McEnroe is slated for release on 22 September.
