SIFTD's Headquarters Robbed

Shane Satterfield, (former GameTrailers, G4 employee) and now the owner of gaming news curating website Siftd.net, shared some bad news today with his site members... His headquarters studio was robbed.

In a post on Siftd, along with the image above, Shane wrote:

"Unfortunately, we have some extremely bad news to share. Last night our studio was broken into and we lost everything. These crooks were so brazen that they took the time to pack everything back into their original boxes before carting them out. They even drank the beer we had in our fridge and had the audacity to leave the empty bottles lying around. We had spent a ton of money on powerful bolt locks and whatever they used to break in shredded them like they were made of paper. They broke into the front door of our office building and then went business-by-business until they found ours and hit the motherlode.

I can't even begin to express how devastating this is. To have worked so hard to build something and then have it taken away by a bunch of crooks. We cannot afford to replace all the equipment that was stolen. There will be no GameFace this coming week. We have no mics, cameras, or anything else needed to produce a show. Sadly, this might even be the end of the site altogether. Can't really say much more right now, but if any of you live in the LA area and come across someone trying to sell tons of AV equipment and literally hundreds of video games (many still in shrinkwrap) please, please, please alert us as soon as possible."

It's unfortunate that this had to happen to Shane, someone trying to get a small business off the ground, just before celebrating the one year anniversary of Siftd. (On June 1st.) We hope he is able to pick up the pieces and get the site back up and running as soon as possible.
