Rockstar Games is notoriously tight lipped about their projects in development as well as any future plans, but the Bully franchise is said to be 'next in line'.

According to user Yan2295 of the GTA Forums, who has a history within the community of leaking accurate information, Rockstar are very busy with the next Bully title and it'll be back to school after Red Dead Redemption 2.

"Bully 2 is indeed in development and is supposed to be the next game after RDR," posted Yan2295.

A second Bully game has long been rumoured with Rockstar's top brass having teased they're keen to work on another adventure in the less violent but just as crazy open world. It's consider GTA-lite given that it steers away from deadly violence and death but doesn't shy from kids getting rough and throwing firecrackers, or using mounted spud-gun defences against an invasion of jocks.

Bully followed the boarding school adventures of Jimmy Hopkins, who got dumped at Bullworth Academy as his mother and new stepdad went on a year-long cruise. It's here that Rockstar weave a tale of ridiculous stereotypes and hi-jinks that earned it a cult following. It became Grand Theft Auto's foul-mouth and snot-nosed little brother. It may finally be making its way back to eager fans if the latest rumour is true.

Bully would would most likely be in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a later launch for PC and possibly Switch.
