Taking us back to that iconic field, the first teaser trailer for season two of Fargo has been revealed and they’re giving very little away.

The trailer, while brief, captures the tone perfectly, with little more than a few branches, a woodpecker and some alarming sounds on the horizon.

According to The Wrap, season two, will be set in 1979 and feature Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) as a young Lou Solverson (played by Keith Carradine in the first season) returning home from the Vietnam War.

Also joining a whole new cast will be Kristen Dunst (Spider-Man) playing Peggy Blomquist, a hairdresser who desperately wants to move up in the world to a big city, Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights), as her husband, a butcher’s assistant who spends most of his free time helping his wife with whatever she needs, Ted Danson (Cheers) as Hank Larsson, the Sheriff of Rock County, Minnesota, Jean Smart (Fraiser) as Floyd Gerhardt, a crime boss who starts asserting her own power after her husband falls ill.

Rounding out that stellar list is Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) as the familiarly sounding Karl Weathers, a drunken lawyer who uses flowery language, Brad Garrett (Everyone Loves Raymond) as Joe Bulo, the face of Kansas City organized crime, Kieran Culkin (Igby Goes Down) as Rye Gerhardt, the youngest son of Jean Smart’s matriarch, and, most importantly, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) as the POTUS. Yes, that's right. Bruce Campbell will play Ronald Reagan.

It’s a phenomenal cast and with the kind of material that was produced during the first season, and it’s limited, True Detective style, one season only deal, it’s no surprise that the show managed to attract such big name stars.

Fargo season two is starts in September.
