Microsoft has pushed back the release window for ReCore from spring 2016 to now the second half of the year. It was originally given the vague date of 2016 before it was narrowed down to spring.

However that was never something concrete and even this pushed back window isn't definitive, according to a statement to Engadget. "We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore however the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016," they said. Another report suggests Xbox One title Scalebound might also slip into 2017.

Keiji Inafune's Comcept studio is creating ReCore with little revealed about its actual gameplay. So far only an announcement trailer exists with pre-scripted events. It does reveal we'll be controlling one of the few remaining humans and we'll "forge friendships with courageous robot companions" as we adventure in a dynamic world.

ReCore releases on PC and Xbox One later this year, maybe.
