Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age For PlayStation 4 In 2017
The fabled Final Fantasy XII remake is officially announced by Square Enix as they unveil Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, which is a remaster of the original for PS4.
A trailer has been posted via the official Square Enix channel on YouTube teasing some of the incoming improvements, though they have also listed them separately. The HD remastering is based off of the 'International Zodiac Job System' version of Final Fantasy XII, which only released in Japan back in 2007.
So far there's only PlayStation 4 being mentioned but the PC could see a little love given the rabid hunger for Final Fantasy on PC. Many hail Final Fantasy XII as one of the very best in the franchise, which also introduced 'MMO style' combat.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age releases exclusively (for now) on PlayStation 4 in 2017.
