Final Fantasy XV's PlayStation 4 Pro Support
Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will be offering support for the PlayStation 4 Pro console, and will offer two modes to choose between.
The latest in the JRPG series will either let you bask in an upscaled 4K resolution that runs at 30 frames per second, or lock horns with 1080p and enjoy a buttery 60 frames per second. Right now Final Fantasy XV runs between 40 to 50 frames at 1080p on the standard PlayStation 4. Square Enix plan on releasing additional performance updates in December to squeeze more out of the non-Pro version.
There's also two free DLC treats coming to owners of Final Fantasy XV and they are the Booster Pack and Holiday Pack, with the later arriving around Christmas with its festive theme.
Should you live in Japan then you're in for a new demo titled Final Fantasy XV: Judgment Disc, which releases tomorrow on November 11th. This is the third demo disc following March 2015's Episode Duscae that came alongside Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The second was Platinum Demo came a year after as more of a technical showcase and not really a taste of the final game.
Final Fantasy XV releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 worldwide November 29th, 2016.
