As you will already know, the new Apple TV has a new focus: it's all about apps. If you're considering using the Apple TV as a micro-console, you might prefer to use a more standard controller and that's where the Nimbus comes in.

Created by SteelSeries, the Nimbus is a Bluetooth controller featuring a standardised set-up with two analogue sticks, a directional pad, four shoulder buttons, and four face buttons.

While it's said to have a 40-hour battery life, the price point still feels a little hefty at just under $50 but if you already have a reliable MFi-licensed controller, you'll be able to use that.
