Prison Architect Post-Launch Update 1 Introduces Bunk Beds And Dormitories

Introversion Software has just released their first post-Alpha-launch video for Prison Architect as Update 1 goes live to the Warden masses. There's a huge new addition to the way we build our prisons.

It is now possible to have more than a single prisoner per cell. Bunk beds have finally been introduced allowing multiple occupants, however cells remain a solitary abode for our incarcerated populace. Dormitories are the new room type that supports more than one prisoner and yes, we can have a dormitory crammed full off many prisoners providing they've got beds or bunk beds enough.

They've also tweaked the Escape Mode where we try and break out of our own prisons by toning down some aspects that were too easily exploited, and so weapons now have an ammunition limit. Guards or staff killed will also be replaced and destruction repaired.

The next video update from Mark and Chris at Introversion will be released Friday, December 18th.

Prison Architect fully launched October 6th, 2015.
