Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Now Available Standalone
Activision has finally decoupled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered from the sci-fi Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, with a standalone version now out.
While this may sound good now that you can just get the Remastered version without needing to buy their latest Call of Duty that rockets off into space, the bad news is the eye-watering price.
It's become available for PC and the consoles but essentially at full price @ £34.99 in the UK. Going by the Steam reviews it has a 'Mostly Negative' rating with numerous complaints over optimisation issues and generally being a 'bad port'.
Should you decide to pick up Modern Warfare Remastered you might want to consider buying the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Digital Legacy Edition through Steam as right now it's 38% off @ £37.19 until July 31st - so a few pennies more for two games.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 standalone July 27th, 2017.
