The wait is almost over. Tomorrow The Man in Black will stop tormenting us and finally release the first trailer for the Stephen King adaptation, The Dark Tower.

After a brief Twitter exchange between leading men Idris Elba (Roland Deschain) and Matthew McConaughey (The Man in Black), McConaughey has shared a snippet from the upcoming trailer, and revealed it will be released Wednesday, says The Hollywood Reporter.

"The war is over. You know what’s coming. the Tower will fall," says the Man in Black.

Anticipation has reached a fever pitch. The first trailer unveiling was due to take place on October 2016, however it was held back after the movie itself was shifted from February of this year to the middle of summer movie season in July.

The initial Dark Tower book series ran for seven books with the final novel, The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower, published in 2003 although King followed it up in 2012 with The Wind Through the Keyhole, which is set between the fourth and fifth instalments.

The Dark Tower is set for a August 4th.
