Mission: Impossible 6 Will Be Released July 2018

After a brief delay while Tom Cruise renegotiated the terms of his contract, Mission: Impossible 6 is underway once again with a July 2018 release date locked in.

A small team had already begun pre-production before the contract talks curtailed that preliminary work but now everything appears to be back on track with Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie ready to return and Cruise likely to be joined by Rebecca Ferguson reprising her role as the kick-ass Isla Faust.

Details at this stage are locked down tighter than the CIA Mainframe in Langley but we can expect the usual mix of high octane action, death-defying stunts and running…lots and lots of shots of Tom Cruise running - maybe that's what the extra money was about, more shoe leather.

The current date set is 27 July, 2018 in the US, but if the new movie follows Rogue Nation, UK audiences could end up seeing it a day before.
