Meet the Demons of Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL in New Gameplay Trailer
Atlus has released the second trailer for their upcoming sequel Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL featuring an extended look at the main characters in the game, as well as a handful of demns and a few peeks at gameplay footage and a familiar soundtrack.
While we're still trying to figure out what Atlus means by 'The Epic is Not Sweet', the trailer offers an entertaining three minutes, opening with an anime cutscene showing two Oni's attacking a human before being vaporised by an Angel whilst our Protagonist perishes, only to be reborn.
A glimpse at the protagonist and Dagda, the wandering demon he forms a contract with, and the names of their voice actors before moving onto former protagonist Flynn and his two friends whom represent Law and Chaos.
The rest of the trailer shows off some familiar looking gameplay and unaltered enemy art, demon fusion, and appearances from the game's Partner characters Asahi, Isabeau, and Hallelujah, among others.
Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL is expected to arrive in Japan on February 10, hopefully moving onto a Western release soon after.
