Capcom today has narrowed the launch window for Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and has finally given some long awaited details about what we can expect from this remaster.

First off, the game is set to release digitally this summer on PC, PlayStation 4, & Xbox One. The developer has said that they're also looking to add a lot more content and replayability to give gamers the most bang for their buck.

To do this, not only is the game going to look visually improved compared to the original, but they're also going to be adding three new playable characters to the two already existing in the game, bringing the total to five. This makes the roster the largest in the series' history.

The three new characters include:

- Vergil, Dante's ice-cold twin brother and master of the "iaijutsu" sword-fighting style.

- Trish, who was last playable in Devil May Cry 2 and was originally one of Dante's enemies.

- Lady, a human demon hunter, who hasn't been playable before.

The new content doesn't end there. Legendary Dark Knight Mode from the PC version will now be available on all three new versions. Turbo Mode will enhance the gameplay speed by 20%. And, to top it off, bonus costumes and skins will round out the new look and feel.

You can see all the remastered sword-fighting and gun-play action your eyes can handle in the new Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition trailer below:
