Cossacks 3 Announced; GSC Game World revives RTS series after 10 Years
Ukrainian-based studio GSC Game World have announced the third numbered game in the Cossacks series. The game will be a “modern remake of the 2001 strategy” will breathtaking historical RTS starring the XVII-XVIII centuries and 12 nations to control.
Evgeniy Grygorovych, head of GSC Game World, said, “Over the years of its existence, GSC has been engaged in numerous fields, however making good games is what we do best. For this very purpose, we are resuming our activities. Over the past year and a half, we have been secretly working on a new project, and now is the time to tell players all over the world about it.”
Cossacks 3 will be able to handle enormous battles featuring 10,000 units on randomly generated maps as well as realistic physics and five historical campaigns based in European regions.
The game will be available on Windows PC, Mac OS and Linux in the 4th quarter of 2015.
