Dynasty Warriors 9 Western Release Announced
Koei Tecmo America announces there's to be an invasion in the West! Dynasty Warriors 9 is coming to platforms in the US and Europe later this year.
Precisely what platforms and when the hordes will arrive hasn't been disclosed with the publisher teasing there will be more information dripping our way in the coming months. The iconic 'one versus thousands' action series includes new characters, features and an expansive open world.
"In Dynasty Warriors 9, players will explore China as it existed when feudal warlords vied for dominance over the land – the waning days of the Han dynasty and emergence of the Three Kingdoms era. Setting out to complete various objectives, players will utilize an unprecedented world map to navigate and traverse a variety of different landscapes ranging from vast plains to snow-covered peaks presented with dynamic day/night and weather cycles."
83 characters from the Dynasty Warriors series make a return for Dynasty Warriors 9 in addition to the newcomers such as Cheng Pu, a a retainer whoi supported the Sun family and helped expand and stabilise the Wu Kingdom.
Dynasty Warriors 9 will likely arrive on PC and PlayStation 4 later in 2017.
