First Trailer for Murder on the Orient Express Roars In
All aboard for the first trailer of Kenneth Branagh’s star-studded adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot novel, Murder on the Orient Express.
Branagh is both directing and starring as the perfectly moustachioed Poirot, drawing from an adapted script that was written by Michael Green (Alien: Covenant), which centres around thirteen passengers who are enjoying a lavish train ride across Europe in the 1930s, when one of them is murdered and the eponymous train itself is stranded in a terrible winter storm. Thus, it falls upon Mr. Poirot to determine who the guilty party is and bring them to justice, before the killer strikes once again.
As expected with such a prestigious novel, the film comes loaded with A-listers and up and coming talent, such as Oscar-winners Penélope Cruz and Judi Dench; Oscar-nominees Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe and Johnny Depp; Broadway stars-turned popular movie actors Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast) and Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton); respected character actors Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Magnificent Seven) and Olivia Colman (Broadchurch); and none other than Star Wars lead Rey herself, Daisy Ridley.
Murder on the Orient Express will roar into stations on Nov 10, 2017.
