Project Prelude Rune Announced
Square Enix has announced an all-new IP under the working title 'Project Prelude Rune', which is a fantasy-based RPG set in a world teeming with life.
It's early days and the publisher has revealed little but a newly formed development team is handling the venture, Studio Istolia, which is headed by Hideo Baba. This new project follows the tale of a people dreaming of the future and fighting for what's just.
"The project aims to build a new RPG with a new fantasy: unfolding across a vast land teeming with life. Nurtured by the earth, the many peoples of this land dare to dream, fighting for what is just—and this is their tale."
Some concept artworks have been released and so it would appear it is very action orientated and most likely going to have rather large dragons in it, who may or may not be friendly at times. No platforms have been officially announced for Project Prelude Rune and neither has a release window.
