David Ayer Directing Margot Robbie In Gotham City Sirens
The bad girls of DC, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and many more are about to team up in Gotham City Sirens, which is to reunite Margot Robbie and Suicide Squad director David Ayer.
Robbie herself has spearheaded the project which has been in the works for a while with Christina Hodson penning the script. Now, as The Hollywood Reporter reveals, the project has passed over to Geneva Robertson-Dworet who is adapting Paul Dini and Guillem March's Sirens comic book, which featured characters such as Catwoman, Poison Ivy and others, with the main trio forming a team.
While there’s still the matter of a Suicide Squad follow up and other DC movies in between, this one potentially hasmore traction and an exuberance about it sorely lacking from DC’s other fare.
Ayer will start developing it once he finishes up Bright for Netflix.
