Official Teaser Trailer for 1950's Romance "Carol" Starring Cate Blanchett
The 1950's set romance drama Carol has just received its first official teaser trailer. Cate Blanchett plays Carol Aird, the object of a department-store clerk's affection as she dreams of a better life.
Rooney Mara plays the role of There Belivet who falls for the older married Carol. It's based off Patricia Highsmith's book The Price of Salt (also known as Carol). In the trailer we're given a glimpse of the 1950s and its fur-coated glamour.
Carol releases in US cinemas November 20th, and in the UK November 27th.
