AMD Radeon RX 500 Series Launching April 18th

The Facebook of an unofficial Powercolor page reports the release date for AMD's new Radeon RX 500 series of Polaris GPUs, and it's next week.

The RX 500 line-up of cards from AMD will be out by the start of next week on Tuesday. Other sites have also followed suit by reporting the April 18th date for the RX 500 launch. 

There will be four different models in the RX 500 series with just one based entirely on a new Polaris GPU referred to as Polaris 12 or Lexa Pro within AMD. Each of the new RX 500 cards come in two flavours differing in how much VRAM it will have with the RX 570 and 580 models offering the most at 8GB of GDDR5 memory.

The AMD Radeon RX 550, RX 560, RX 570 and RX 580 will be out April 18th, 2017.
