After disappearing four months ago due to a bug which rendered the game completely useless on latest versions of iOS, The World Ends With You: Solo Remix has returned to the App Store in working condition.
The game now has iOS 8 compatibility and costs $17.99 or £13.49. The Android version of the title had no such problems and has remained on the Google Play store since arriving two years after iOS.
If you caught the game on the Nintendo DS in 2012 and are intrigued, you'll be happy to know that the mobile version of the game is fully fledged with redrawn visuals and an updated soundtrack, amongst other minor touches such as the ability to buy Pins in bulk and almost-constant autosaving.
You'll also be happy to know that, due to the lack of multiple screens, the much-disliked 'puck' and 'dual zone' battle system has been replaced with much more fluid mechanics.
