Gambit Movie Gets a Working Title
The much-trouble Gambit movie is finally rolling into production and we might just have a title for the project.
Fox have trying to produce a standalone X-Men movie based on the charismatic, card-throwing mutant for quite some time; with the movie recently starting over from scratch with Pirates of the Caribbean’s Gore Verbinski rumoured to be directing Channing Tatum in the starring role.
Now, Omega Underground is reporting that Gambit has a working title, the appropriately chosen ‘Chess.’
While it’s a little unusual to get a working title before a director has been announced, it does seem to confirm that the film has now entered pre-production – which means we might finally get to see a Gambit movie after all, which in a world where Deadpool and Logan have been lighting up the box office, it seems the timing couldn’t be better for Fox’s X-Men universe.
