The upcoming multiplayer shooter LawBreakers from Cliff Bleszinski and his new studio Boss Key Productions will hit PC and PS4 at the same time.

Originally it would have been a free-to-play title but that eventually was ditched in favour of a more traditional launch, with the base game set to cost around £24.99. Future updates will be free and no season pass has been revealed.

The game will generate additional revenue through the sale of loot boxes, much like Blizzard's Overwatch. Boss Key stress they only offer cosmetic goodies and no 'pay-to-win' power-ups or other advantages. The studio has also ruled out cross-play between the PC and any console versions because of the obvious advantage PC gamers will have. LawBreakers is built using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4.

Right now there's no release window for LawBreakers but we now know at least that it will come to PC and PlayStation 4 at the same time. Bleszinski will be showcasing his latest creation this June at E3 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California. The PS4 version will be playable at a booth.

LawBreakers is in development for PC and PlayStation 4 with no announced release.
