Ant-Man And The Wasp: Evangeline Lilly Offers A First Glimpse of The Wasp

Ant-Man And The Wasp is already in production and while we’ve seen images of Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne in concept form we’ve yet to see her don the costume of the Wasp. Well, all that has changed now as Lilly took to twitter tor reveal the Wasps look in honour of comic book legend Jack Kirby's 100 year-birthday celebrations.

The sequel will see her team up with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and by the looks of her costume, they both use the same tailor that fashioned Ant-Man’s look from Captain America: Civil War. No doubt the movie will deal with the repercussions of that battle and Scott Lang’s home life too as he struggles to maintain both as a new threat emerges.

Part of which will involve Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), mother to Hope and wife of Michael Douglas' Hank Pym who was once-thought lost in the Quantum Realm. Janet van Dyne was co-created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1963.

Returning for the sequel will be Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip "T.I." Harris and David Dastmalchian – and they’ll be joined by Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins and Randall Park.

Ant-Man And The Wasp will hit UK cinemas on 29 June next year.
