Final Trailer for Valerian and The City Of A Thousand Planets
Heading back into his first full-bloodied sci-fi film since The Fifth Element, Luc Besson’s Valerian or to give the movie it’s full title, Valerian and The City Of A Thousand Planets, certainly looks like a sumptuous neon-soaked visual feast.
The film stars Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) and Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad) as special operatives Valerian and Laureline, who are agents for the government of human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. When a threat is levelled at the titular city, Alpha, the entire universe suddenly finds itself on the brink of disaster.
However, the real star here are those visuals. Every time we see some new footage from the film, there seems to be a new, delightful treat. Here’s hoping this mad, exciting, idiosyncratic film finds a mainstream audience. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets comes out July 21st.
