Witcher 3: Blood And Wine Confirmed For Release This Month
This past week we reported that the expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled Blood And Wine, had a leaked release date on Steam of May 30th, 2016. Today, we have confirmation from CD Projekt Red that the date is indeed real!
The base game of The Witcher 3 released in May 2015, and now Blood And Wine is the final expansion that will end this section of Geralt's tale - A whole year after release. In the 20+ hour adventure, Geralt will explore Toussaint, where the monster hunter will be tasked with unraveling the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom.
The developers have teased that players can expect loads of mystery, evil new creatures, never before seen characters, romance, and a few unpredictable twists as well in this latest downloadable content. You can pre-order Blood And Wine on Steam at a 10% discount until its release, making its total $17.99. Although the Steam release is set for the 30th of May, console versions will arrive on May 31st.
