Total War: WARHAMMER - Realm Of The Wood Elves Announced
Creative Assembly and SEGA have announced the next major DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER is their biggest addition yet with Realm of the Wood Elves.
These aren't your hippy-type Elves all about tree hugging and recycling - no - these Elves are ready to go to war and smack about anyone who threatens their woodlands.
"The Wood Elves campaign offers a uniquely different campaign experience to the other playable races of Total War: WARHAMMER. Their major infrastructure is housed in the Wood Elf settlements of Athel Loren, though they are capable of expanding outwards, capturing settlements and building limited outposts, known as Asrai Lookouts, in their stead. The heart of the campaign is The Great Oak, a unique 5-tier building related to the new Wonder victory condition."
This new DLC adds the Wood Elves Race in the Grand Campaign of Total War: WARHAMMER, and a special new currency called Amber. There is now also a path to victory based on Wonders and the Wood Elves can conquer any region across the game world.
Two new Legendary Lords join the fray - Orion and Durthu - with three new Hero types with specialised skill trees. The Wood Elves get their own army roster of course and there's a unique 'Season of Revelations' story campaign with its own map.
Total War: WARHAMMER - Realm of The Wood Elves releases on PC December 8th.
