Square Enix and Nvidia has announced that Final Fantasy XV will be expanding its JRPG reach from consoles to PC early next year. It will get a visual boost too.

The announcement comes from Gamescom 2017 which is being held in Cologne, Germany this week. The PC version of FFXV will feature "4K high res textures, Dolby Atmos, realistic turf, advanced hair simulation, combustible fluid, fire and smoke simulation, advanced shadow alogrithmns, high quality ambient occlusion, Ansel screenshots,” and other tech stuff.

It's not exactly a surprise that Square Enix is bringing their latest hit Final Fantasy to PC as a 'tech test' for the game was shown earlier in 2017 at GDC, and Square even released gameplay footage captured by a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. The PC version will include all released DLC to-date.

Final Fantasy XV releases on PC in Early 2018, having already launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 November 29th, 2016.
