Microsoft Studios' new shiny Forza Horizon 3 is tearing up the Australian landscape with over 350 of the world's most gorgeous cars-wot-go-fast. It's now on PC and Xbox One.

You'll have to be using Windows 10 on a PC to play Forza Horizon 3 however, and thanks to 'Xbox Play Anywhere' you actually own the game for both PC and Xbox One whatever platform you choose.

"You’re in charge of the Horizon Festival. Customize everything, hire and fire your friends, and explore Australia in over 350 of the world’s greatest cars. Make your Horizon the ultimate celebration of cars, music, and freedom of the open road. How you get there is up to you."

Already there's work on two large slice expansions for Forza Horizon 3 with the first due out later this year, with the second coming in 2017. They're part of the Expansion Pass and will be joined by additional car packs releasing throughout.

Sorry owners of the $100 / £80 Ultimate Edition but you don't get the two expansions as part of the package, but instead get a discount worth about $10 *if* you buy the Expansion Pass before the end of 2016, which is $35 ordinarily. You do get the Car Pass though ($30 / £25) for all those car packs. Hooray for capitalism!

A demo can be played on Xbox One if you're still on the fence.

Forza Horizon 3 releases today on PC and Xbox One.
