Project Octopath Traveler Announced
Square Enix has announced a new RPG project in the works for the Nintendo Switch and currently it's going by a working title - Project Octopath Traveler.
This 2.5D fantasy world has 2D characters moving through a 3D world. Not much is known yet as Square Enix are keeping tight-lipped on specifics but they do promise new 'promotional media' soon. Hopefully some lengthy gameplay teasers.
“While we can’t reveal any specific details quite yet (keep an eye out for promotional media in the near future), we’d like to share with you a behind-the-scenes look at the development process in the meantime. A long road lies ahead of us, but we hope that you’ll come along for the journey!” producer Tomoya Asano posted on the official Facebook page.
Project Octopath Traveler is in development for Nintendo Switch.
