Rumour: Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Art Leaks Confirm Maya / Aztec Setting?
The now long rumoured next Tomb Raider has apparently suffered some concept artwork leaks which appear to confirm the name Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
The art also heavily implies Lara Croft will be dealing with either Mayan or Aztec ruins placing her in South or Central America. The leaks reveal Lara is taking some inspiration from another temple raider as she's sporting a whip?
This artwork posted by NeoGAF doesn't necessarily confirm the setting of the next big Tomb Raider as the image states they're "multiple proposals ranging in environment, lighting, pose, etc." These could be nothing but concept artworks as Lara has a distinct history with Aztec and Mayan ruins, but it's likely they'd stick to whatever was the backdrop of the next game.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is believed to be in development for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
