Star Wars Battlefront 2 Full Reveal Trailer
DICE's Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been given a full reveal trailer and it focuses heavily on the story campaign, which centres around Imperial special forces.
Specifically it focuses on the female Commander - Iden Versio - of this special forces group that stands on the moon of Endor as they witness the destruction of the second Death Star. The Captain rallies the troops under her command to strike back at the Rebellion to avenge the Emperor.
From the two-minute long trailer we see the change in eras from Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi into the new Episode VII: The Force Awakens as stormtroopers are rocking their new uniform. From what gets teased it seems we have our own ship in the Imperial fleet - dedicated to the special forces task force. The story follows Commander Versio across 30 years of revenge, betrayal and redemption.
On the multiplayer side of things DICE and EA are promising bigger and more explosion-packed mayhem. It also seems that aerial or space-based dog-fighting will be a major feature at launch. Other major characters were also glimpsed such as Darth Maul, Yoda and Kylo Ren.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 by mid-November, 2017. EA and Origin Access subscribers can gain early release access from November 9th, confirms EA, though details on what is included haven't been disclosed yet.
