New Flatliners Trailer Dares You To Cross Over
Crossing over to the other side, Hollywood has once again applied the defibrillators to an old franchise and resurrected the 1990 cult classic Flatliners.
This time around the cast includes Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemons who play medical students who are obsessed by what lies beyond the grave. Embarking on a foolhardy experiment to explore the afterlife by stopping their hearts for short periods of time – with each triggering a near-death experience – giving them a first-hand account of the afterlife. But as their experiments become increasingly dangerous, they are each haunted by the sins of their pasts, brought on by the paranormal consequences of trespassing to the other side…yeah that old chestnut.
Directed by Niels Arden Oplev – featuring an obligatory cameo from original star Kiefer Sutherland – the move will crossover into cinemas on 29 September.
