The upcoming Arc System Works 3DS fighter ‘Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden’ is showing off what it has to offer in these two new pieces of gameplay footage. The first video last about 8 minutes and shows off the game’s combo and battle system including the use of tag characters and two ‘Z-Assist characters’

The characters available to you is dictated by their Dragon Power cost to ensure a fairly balanced team; for example, Son Goku drains 3DP while Majin Buu takes up 6DP.

The second video reveals character transformations from the recently released Dragon Ball Z movie ‘Resurrection F’ so, if you’ve managed to avoid spoilers so far… well, first of all, how!? But, if you are saving yourself, it’s time to look away.

In the second video, you can catch the awkwardly named Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku facing off against Perfect Cell, Super Buu and Frieza, with that latter’s new Golden form appearing at the end as a ‘Z-Assist’ character.

There currently is no planned release for a Western copy of the game as far as we know but, just two days ago, translated scans appeared on the web of the 24 playable characters in the game which you can view above.
