Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Release Date Confirmed Late October
If you're hungry for a new GPU but don't quite need the bleeding-edge Nvidia offers with its GeForce range then the GTX 1070 Ti might take your fancy.
This new GPU range will become available in late October and will fit snugly between the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080 options. According to early reports of its technical specs the 1070 Ti will come fairly close the GTX 1080, falling short by just over 100 CUDA cores.
It's expect to feature 8GB GDDR5 VRAM the same as the GTX 1070 cards. This will be the latest addition to Nvidia's growing Pascal family of GPUs. Currently there's no confirmation on pricing but it's reasonable to expect a $400 - $450 range.
The launch of new GPUs tends to knock prices down for earlier releases so bargain hunters should keep their eyes peeled among the 1070 and even 1080 series.
