Paranoid Horror 'Lyle' Gets VOD And DVD Release Date
A horror doesn't need some supernatural threat or a slasher hiding in the shadows. Sometimes, all it takes is a glimpse inside the human mind and a journey down a path of loss, depression and paranoia. Lyle is an upcoming movie that really drives this point home.
Lyle tells the story of expecting mum Leah (Gaby Hoffman: Girls), and her partner June (Ingrid Jungermann: F to 7th) who move to a new apartment with their young daughter Lyle. Their new life takes a dark turn, however, when a freak accident leaves Lyle dead and Leah distraught. As her due date draws closer, Leah grows increasingly more convinced that her neighbors are dangerous satanists and her unborn child isn't safe.
The film was written and directed by Stewart Thorndike, and has been shown at several festivals where it was well received.
Lyle is set to release on DVD and On Demand on September 29, just in time to get you set for Halloween.
