Fast and Furious 8 Teaser Unveiled, New Trailer Drops Sunday
Racing through the history of the franchise this teaser for the first trailer for the eagerly awaited Fast and Furious 8 certainly hits you in the feels.
Maybe because James Wan successfully navigated the loss of Paul Walker and Vin Diesel’s own Oscar predictions for the franchise but this teaser is taking things extremely serious...which is an odd thing to say about a cars and bikini's smash-a-thon.
The most important question is, what does the new footage look like? Well we do get our first real footage from Fast 8, showing a few shots of new villain Cypher (Charlize Theron) as well as a two-shot of her with Vin Diesel's Toretto. And they look like they might be working together…
However, if you want more footage, you’re just going to have to wait until Sunday 11th December where, live from New York – one of the many locations featured in this globetrotting saga – the cast will unveil the very first trailer; and you can watch it via Facebook Live.
Fast 8 is being directed by F. Gary Gray. It brings back the bulk of the original cast, from Vin Diesel and The Rock to Tyrese and Michelle Rodriguez. It also features newcomers such as Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren, of all people.
The movie hits cinemas on April 14, 2017.
