Capturing the spirit of the great man himself, Tom Hiddleston has presented the first clip from Hank Williams biopic, I Saw the Light via Twitter.

Written and directed by Marc Abraham which in turn adapted Colin Escott’s biography of the man who scored hits with songs such as ‘Your Cheatin’ Heart’, ‘I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry’ and ‘Lovesick Blues’.

Williams, who died in 1953, is still considered one of the most significant country music artists and rose quickly, burned brightly and died at the age of 29 from heart failure brought on by pills and alcohol.

Co-staring Elizabeth Olsen, David Krumholtz, Bradley Whitford, Maddie Hasson, Cherry Jones, Josh Pais and Wrenn Schmidt; it’ll premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival tomorrow before a US release date of November 27.
